OFDMA based medium access is one the distinguishing features of state-of-the-art IEEE 802.11ax (WiFi6) and forthcoming IEEE 802.11be (WiFi7) networks. The Access points (APs) can allocate OFDMA resource units (RUs) to the users based on their traffic class, buffer status report (BSR) and channel conditions. Our objective is to use distributed optimization and learning to develop optimal RU allocation algorithms. We will evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithms using network simulators such as NS3.
